If you want to visualize your Kubernetes cluster on your desktop I have found that using Lens is one of the easiest and the most visually appealing products on the market. I have not reviewed all Kubernetes IDE’s but of the ones I have tried out Lens is the one I like the most.
The one thing I will warn you is that although it allows you to edit your YAML within Lens – don’t do that – seriously don’t use a GUI to make edits and start messing around as it will only end in tears. If you want to change things, make the changes in your source YAML files and apply them.
One feature that I like about Len is that it is also easy to install packages via its HELM package UI. It is found on the left hand side nav bar under Helm >> Charts.
